OPI - Did It On'Em: Mani Options & Comparison

As I mentioned yesterday, this is not my favourite colour. So in an attempt to make it more wearable, I came up with the following suggestions:

Index finger - Nicole by OPI Imagine If...

This delicate holo top coat adds a little more depth and detail, without detracting from the main colour.

Middle finger - OPI Super Bass Shatter

I bought these two together as I envisaged Did It On'Em would be a bit much for me. This is not my finest crackling job, but I think you get the idea. They work pretty well together in my opinion, would you agree?

Ring finger - OPI Servin' Up Sparkle

I had almost forgotten how great this nail varnish is, I'd only tried it before Christmas and now I've seen its true beauty in the sunlight (click on this picture). I bought it as part of a set with Your Royal Shine-Ness and hadn't tried it over other things, but this slightly chunkier holo makes a great accent finger. Love it!

Little finger - OPI Black Shatter

Probably the most wearable option for me, I find that Black Shatter fixes most light colours and make them stand out without being too in your face.

As if owning one strange colour isn't enough, I realised that I picked up a near dupe by China Glaze: Electric Pineapple from the Island Escape collection.

The formula on this one is runnier, which makes application slightly more difficult, and it's a little lighter, but it's hardly noticeable.

To be perfectly honest, you don't need both, but since I have them I might as well show you what they look like side by side:

Index and ring fingers are Did It On'Em, middle and little fingers are Electric Pineapple. Both are three coats, using the same base and top coats. Do you have a preference?
